Which area do you cover?
I work in the Boskruin, Bromhof, Northwold, Sharonlea and Sonneglans area
How long have you been an estate agent?
I started with RealNet in 2008
How did you start out as an estate agent?
I first was a bond consultant for Wizard in 2003/4, then I started selling advertising space for agents in a magazine. Then went over to sell franchises for Century 21 and ended up being a Real Estate Property Professional.
What would you do if you weren't an estate agent?
An agent? Anything to do with sales…
What was your biggest property sale? Where and how much?
R4.7mil in Boskruin. (It was 1 of 3 subject to offers. The other 2 were R2.3 and R2.4)
Why are you successful as an estate agent?
I believe in marketing, staying in contact with clients which leads to referrals. Being enthusiastic and positive at all times. I just love what I do which makes it part of my life…
What’s great about the area you work in?
I have friendly loyal clients in the area. The area is central to everything (Northgate/ Cresta Highway) They are affordable areas.
What’s the best part of your job?
Making money and meeting people

What do you think the market will do in 2015?
I believe we will have an upswing later this year (hopefully an interest hike) which will keep us very busy. The banks will be more favourable to give loans and clients are already “schooled” with what is expected from them with regards to deposits and costs. But we need to do the ground work now in order to be prepared and ahead of the rest.
