Fourways-based real estate company, RE/MAX One Hundred, is giving away 12-month subscriptions to RSS Medical to the first 10 new homeowners who purchase property through the company in June.Dieter Harck, Broker/Owner of RE/MAX One Hundred, explains that this added-value giveaway is a “welcome to the area” gift to new homeowners from his company. He says that in addition, RE/MAX One Hundred will also be giving 12-month subscriptions to the RSS Medical service to the first 10 homeowners who enquire about the service through RE/MAX One Hundred during the month of June.RSS Medical is a specialist division of RSS Security that provides homeowners with an emergency response that acts to stabilise the patient and treat them on site, and then activate the necessary private or provincial emergency service. Bradley Poultney of RSS Medical Emergency Response explains that in an emergency, time is the single most important factor in determining a patient’s potential for full recovery. “This is why RSS has developed RSS Medical – a service offering that is tailor-made for businesses, complexes, lifestyle estates and individual households within Fourways and the surrounding suburbs to provide them with a dedicated Advanced Life Support rapid response system.” RSS Medical works closely with both private and provincial emergency services and hospitals in the area.RSS Medical also uses a percentage of the subscription fee to undertake community safety projects such as training key people on First Aid and CPR as well as painting house numbers on the kerbs, among others.Harck says that with each RSS Medical subscription given to a Fourways homeowner, a R50 donation will be made by RSS Medical on behalf of RE/MAX One Hundred towards the Douglasdale Community Police Forum. These donations will be pooled together to purchase an item on the wish list of the Fourways policing sector.Adrian Goslett, CEO of RE/MAX of Southern Africa, says: “Community involvement and development is an important function for any business to participate in. As RE/MAX is in the business of selling houses , which form the core of the community, community participation becomes even more important. This RE/MAX One Hundred initiative will no doubt have a noticeable impact on the safety and well being of the Fourways community.”Harck notes that buyers looking to purchase property in the Fourways area are spoilt for choice as there is a range of properties available, from freestanding homes to clusters and sectional-title units in varying price ranges.
