QA / Product Tester
Roles & Responsibilities
As a tester, you will be responsible for verifying the quality of our various products. You will need to be able to work closely with analysts, designers, and developers to deliver a high quality product to a specified timescale. You will become an integral member of the Deployment team.
Your key performance areas are inter alia, to develop re-usable test plans, test scripts & test cases, the execution of these tests either manually or automatically, the performing of root cause analysis on errors and to log, track, retest and close any defects found, to ensure the quality of formal and specification documentation.
You will also be required to assist with the configuration, preparation and maintenance of test environments.
- Create and maintain tests and test records.
- Develop qualification test procedures, system requirements and test plans.
- Establish and execute test procedures.
- Log defects.
- Perform testing for product release.
- Recommend process improvements.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary Qualification in IT an advantage
- 2 years testing experience
- Basic understanding of Web Design
- Test skills from WEB Industry
- Experience in Continuous Integration and Test processes
- Understanding / experience of test methodologies and techniques – both structured and exploratory
- Experience in exploratory, data driven and regression testing
Additional Experience that will be Advantageous
- rapidly changing high volume web / software applications development environment
- Test Automation
- Basic SQL skills
