OUR TEAM
Nico van Rooyen and Bennie Brunette head the Century 21 branch in the Silver Lakes area in Pretoria. Our team currently consists of Michelle Blanden (Office Manager), Kriek Grundling (Wapadrand, Silver Lakes), Susan van Schalkwyk (Six Fountains, Willow Acres & Silver Lakes), Rina Potgieter (New Developments), Tobie Heymann (Equestria) and Jeanette Potgieter (Garsfontein).
Both Nico and Bennie have been in the real estate industry for longer than 10 years. They are Pretoria “boytjies” spending their High School years in the eastern suburbs and acquiring their higher education at the University of Pretoria.
Bennie and Nico saw the entry of the largest real estate brand in the world – Century 21 – as the ideal opportunity to build a classy and innovative business for the future.

Century 21 Silver Lakes specialize in the sale and rentals of residential properties. We work in the east of Pretoria, specifically the area in and around Silver lakes which include the Silver Lakes Golf Estate, Six Fountains, Willow Acres, The Meadows, Silver Woods, Silver Stream, Newmark and Lombardy Estates. We also service Wapadrand, Faerie Glen, Garsfontein and Equestria.
Our office has extensive knowledge regarding the subdivision and rezoning of land. We have also assisted in the launch and sales of New Developments.
PRETORIA EAST – MORE ABOUT OUR AREA
The eastern suburbs of Pretoria are historically known as an affluent area where top schools and shopping centres are located. It is a beautiful treed suburb with the small Bronberg hills running through the middle of the suburbs in an easterly direction. Pretoria is also known as Jacaranda City and during the months of October and November the city is covered in the coat of colourful Jacaranda blossoms.
We are proud of our town and young national achievers regularly top the lists of Pretoria Schools and the University. There are great shopping centres, with the likes of Menlyn Park and Woodlands but a couple to mention. A fine selection of restaurants, art galleries, the State Theatre and museums, cater for the more discerning taste.
Pretoria is also the seat of government. The beautiful Union Buildings and all the different government departments all contribute to the official feel of our town. Pretoria is situated in Gauteng which includes Johannesburg – the business hub of South Africa. Many people prefer to stay in Pretoria because it offers the best of both worlds. It is a city but has a relaxed feeling about it and boasts great weather throughout the year – warm summers and mild winters with lots of sunshine.
