Introduction

Founded in 1909 when Arthur Brett opened a practice in Smith Street. After the First World War he was joined by Major Gordon Wills MC. The firm of Brett & Wills practised successfully until its amalgamation with Chapman Dyer in 1974. In 1988 Chapman Dyer Incorporated was further strengthened by an amalagmation with Miles & Moorhead and by the turn of the century, had grown to its present level of 45 employees.
