153.4 ha Farm in Mooi River

This farm is situated between Mooi River (40km) and Greytown (31km). It overlooks the Craigie Burn Dam. You don't travel a long distance to get to the tarred road. For security the SAPS Rietvlei is up the road. The farm is 153.4464ha made of 35ha dry land and 35ha irrigable land and the rest is 83.4464 made up with buildings, roads and bush.

With mostly pastures of kikuyu grass and 729mm rain recorded annually it is suitable for cash crops, cattle and sheep farming. There are also 2 dams to irrigate the crops. The electricity is supplied by Eskom.

The homesteads water supply is from the borehole with 3 x 2500 litre jojo tanks. The house has carpets in the bedrooms and the rest of the rooms parquet flooring.

The home does have an alarm system but not monitored. There are also 2 flats suitable for staff accommodation. The farm needs some tlc to turn it into a well productive crop farm.
