Nel Attorneys
HISTORY
Renier Nel obtained his B.Proc degree at the University of the Free State, where after he completed his articles with E.G. Cooper & Sons in Bloemfontein. Renier Nel was admitted as Attorney and Conveyancer on 13 January 2000 and as a Notary on 28 March 2002. He assisted as Attorney and Conveyancer for De Wet & Shaw Attorney’s in Queenstown. In 2002 Renier Nel started to practice for his own account as Nel Attorneys until May 2004, where after he amalgamated with Blake Bester Inc. where he served as a Director. In April 2006 Renier Nel again started to practice as Nel Attorneys.
CONVEYANCING
Nel Attorneys are currently attending to transfers of normal residential properties as well as developments, commercial properties and township developments, including Val De Grace in Parys to mention a few. The department is headed by Mr. Renier Nel who is also the director of Nel Attorneys.
Nel Attorneys uses the Veri - Agent reporting systems giving the agent, seller and purchaser live updates on the transfer. It uses sms and email services to communicate with all the relevant parties every step of the way.
LITIGATION AND COMMERCIAL
Nel Attorneys have a large Litigation and Commercial department with various corporate clients. The department is headed by Mr. Albert Blake who has 30 years experience in the field.
COMPUTERISATION
Nel Attorney makes use of the Legal Perfect as well as Ghostconvey packages. They are also on the lawyer’s access web as well as Webconvey.

Nel Attorneys are currently on the bond registration panel for Standard Bank, First National Bank and Rand Merchant Bank and on the cancellation panel of First National Bank.
For this purpose do we have indemnity cover of R10 000 000-00 and do we have the necessary BEE credentials.
Nel attorneys is currently ranked 3rd on the Firstrand Bank bond Registration panel due our effective turnaround time.
Recent meetings and communications with the council have resulted in us obtaining our clearances timeously.
