Swaffield & Associates is a conveyancing and commercial litigation firm which was formed in October 2012 and commenced business on the 1st of February 2013. We are focused on building a successful conveyancing and commercial litigation practice and are driven by results, thus we strive to provide our clients with the best result possible.
1.1 Company Background
The partners of the firm worked as professional assistants before deciding to gain commercial experience in the corporate sector. It was during this time that they saw an opportunity to build a successful conveyancing and commercial litigation practice and the idea of Swaffield & Associates was born.

· Legal advisory services - Providing clients with legal advice in respect of all legal matters.
· Contractual - Drafting and reviewing of all contracts.
· Conveyancing - Transfer of immovable property and all aspect relating to property law.
· Family law - Drafting and registration of antenuptial contracts and divorce matters.
· Commercial law - Debt collections, registration of companies, trademark registrations, drafting of commercial contracts, general and commercial litigation.

Swaffield & Associates is a partnership owned by Bernadine Swaffield (LLB University of Pretoria) and Carmen Claassen (LLB University of Pretoria). Both partners have a number of years’ experience in the commercial and litigation environment.
