RealNet was founded in Pretoria in 1996 and started franchising its concept in 2001. Today we have a national footprint of more than 60 franchise territories employing more than 350 estate agents who deal with residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural sales, sales in property developments, property letting and property management.

Our Management team

The Managing Director, Gerhard Kotzé, has travelled widely and consulted with real estate experts in Europe, Asia and the US, and this exposure to best practice internationally has given him a good understanding of how important it is to identify new opportunities and to successfully implement them to ensure maximum profitability.

Marlize de Wet, a Professional Accountant (SA), is the Financial Manager who also oversees the group’s letting and property management administration, while corporate governance and matters of legal and regulatory compliance are attended to by an admitted attorney in support of the Managing Director.

Training and value adding services are provided by experienced managers. These managers’ primary responsibilities are to improve the group’s market, to create brand awareness and to improve brand recognition in collaboration with RealNet’s franchisees.

RealNet’s management team assists franchisees with induction training, business set-up, agent recruitment, performance and risk management, planning and budgeting, best practices and much more.
