VEGETATION: Typical Noorsveld dominated by Sweet Noors, dwarf Karoo shrubs and other palatable species including Spekboom, Vygies, Jacket Plum, Karoo Shepherds Tree, Wild Pomegranate, with Sweet Thorn trees and a variety of grasses especially prevalent along the banks of the Sundays River. The northern hills landscape is dominated by numerous Aloe Ferox which provide a splash of colour in season. Unusual species of flora also include the Elephants Foot succulent and the protected Karoo Cycad a giant (2.5 m) example of which is to be found in a remote kloof.

BUILDINGS: The modern and well-designed homestead is constructed from attractive local stone and has spectacular views over the property from its position high up against a hill.
