The farm is easily accessible via the main route from either Port Elizabeth or Cape Town via the N2 which connects to the R62 (Route 62) which leads through the Langkloof.
Just outside the town of Joubertina (western side) is the sign post reading 28km Kouga Wilderness.
This road, although gravel is in good condition and will take you through some breath taking scenery on route to the farm.

The farm is made up of 3 titles being 3132 ha in extent. (Three thousand one hundred and thirty two hectares)
The farm Kleinrivier is steeped in history having belonged to the same family for over 200 years. Situated in the heart of the Kouga Mountains on the border of the Baviaans World Heritage Site one is aware of an aura which only the greatness of nature can exude.
Apart from the main farm house and out buildings for the tractor and farm implements there are 3 guest cottages, plus a community hall which is used for weddings and special functions. In addition there is a campsite plus an exclusive bush camp reserved for one group at a time.
All the chalets have Eskom power, with electric stove fridge and kettle plus bedding cutlery and crockery.
4x4 Sukkelpoort- This trail was initiated by the Garden Route 4x4 Club and is rated 3.
The route which takes 2 to 3 hours to complete runs to the top of the mountain range and back to the farm house
Abseiling- There are two options, plus mountain climbing on 4 bolted routes.
The first option Beginners Rock is abseiling 18 meters under guidance of a professional abseil instructor. The second is Leopards Rock overlooking the campsite, which is 80 meters and only for the experienced climbers.
There are several hiking trails ranging from easy to the pretty tough 15km which follows the perennial river through a natural forest filled with untouched indigenous trees such as yellow woods and cycads surrounded by steep cliffs, where one can find rock paintings and an array of bird life. To put it simply it is a nature lovers paradise.
The plant life is too numerous to mention with three kinds of Protea, namely the Blou Suikerbos, Opregte Suikerbos and the Grondprotea in abundance. Some other species of plant are Rooirabas, Geelbos, Kersbos, Bitterbos and the Dolkvygie.
The lapa under the oak tree has become an exclusive wedding destination and with seating for 60 people it has become a popular choice for couples from all over the country.
The farm represents a wonderful opportunity for an investor wanting to become involved in the Tourism industry. Although the farm is a working farm with fruit trees such as oranges, lemons and apricots as well as sheep, the main emphasis is on Tourism.
