An air conditioner is installed in this space as well. On the other side of the courtyard, up a few steps into the back of the extra deep garages, is the laundry.

Turning the corner, the passage leads to two more bedrooms, both with bathrooms en suite. The black and white checkerboard pattern repeats in the bathrooms. There is a further room that might serve as a study or a fourth bedroom. All can accommodate queen-sized beds and two of the bedrooms connect to the deck on the far side through sliding doors. The wrap-around design of the house makes for a sociable arrangement, though with sufficient privacy.

At the top end of the property, near the entrance gate, are a workshop, some stables and a staff cottage with outside bathroom facilities. There is a borehole with two Jojo tanks. Grass now covers the horse riding arena, but it can easily be reinstated if needed.
