This Farm Located close to the main road and Mahube Mall, ideal for any business is a composite of four smallholdings, of which three are vacant. The total extension of the Farm is 84,7511 Hectares.
NB: Portions 37 Nooit gedaght and Portion 46 Elandshoek (both described below) can be sold separately
1) Portion 37 Nooitgedaght, 333JR. of 23, 3644 Hectares. It is well situated. On the corner of a servitude road and a Provincial road ( D1814) that links Rayton with the R513, which leads either towards Cullinan or Zambezi Drive. This road is due to be tarred soon. This Portion is well fenced, with 1.2 Bonnox, and well above half of its surface is arable land. The previous owner had electricity there and the line is established for the purpose, but there is no borehole. Underground water is present without doubt, as some of the tress are green throughout the year. We use it solely for animal pasture.
2) Portion 46 Elandshoek 337JR. of 20, 1029 Hectares. It is reasonably fenced with 1.2 Bonnox, divided into 3 large camps. There is no borehole, nor electricity. We use it solely for pasture. It is separated from Portion 51 (described below) by a servitude road. There is water supply for the animals in the three camps via a 32mm pipe, going underground the servitude road, originating in Portion 40 Nooitgedaght, and passing through Portion 51. For practical purposes this smallholding is contiguous to Portion 51, Elandshoeck, described below. This Portion has also direct access to the Provincial Road D1814, that leads to Rayton from the R513, and which is due to be tarred soon.
3) Portion 51 Elandshoek 337JR. of 17, 4125 Hectares. Well fenced with 1.8 Bonnox, and seven camps, all with access to water. It has an excellent borehole (+/-7, 000 litres per hour) and electricity. This borehole supplies water to Portion 40 Nooitgedaght, as an alternative to another one, with similar capacity, there. It was fitted as an Exporting Ostrich feedlot, and both Portions are fenced, etc., for this purpose. Again, this Portion has direct access to the Provincial Road D1814, that leads to Rayton from the R513, and which is due to be tarred soon.
The fact that the Provincial Road D1814, a gravel road at present, is soon to be tarred will add value to all properties having direct access to it.
4) Portion 40 Nooitgedaght 333JR. of just under 24 Hectares (23, 8713 Hectares) is where we reside. It is well developed, contains several outbuildings, etc., and is equipped for Ostrich and goats farming. The replacement value of the buildings and general infrastructure has been estimated at around R7, 000, 000. This Portion is linked to Portion 51 Elandshoeck via a small corridor that has been rented from a Neighbour, at R10.0 per year. The contract will need to be renegotiated by the new owner.
