15.2 ha Land available in Kwambonambi

The property is 15,2 ha, along N2, on a prime commercial

area of the town.

The feasibility study done a couple of years back, indicated

that the KwaMbonambi Town is going to be a hub of commercial activity.

The Local Municipality has big dreams of development in and around. The

discovery of a coal mine at Dondota, kwaMthethwa Traditional Village,

about 20kms west, which intend to have a Truck-Inn ,when transporting

coal to Richards Bay Coal Terminal. The King Cetshwayo District and Umhlathuze

Local Municipality intend to move the local airport next to N2. This will

facilitate the extension of both industrialization towards KwaMbonambi, and

allowing enough space for the international airplanes. Since, Richards Bay has

no more space for industrial development, KwaMbonambi has come to the rescue,

especially because it is located on the N2 freeway, which is all tarred and still

safe for the trucks transport.

The Municipality boundaries include Richards Bay

Minerals, Mbonambi Tribal, kwaMthethwa Tribal, Sokhulu Tribal, Ntambanana and

boarders with uMfolozi River, next to Mtubatuba.

Therefore, KwaMbonambi Town, will be a hub of commercial

activity in a couple of years to come especially because of the wish to make

King Cetshwayo District Municipality a Metro by 2026.
