4) THE IMPROVEMENTS
Main Lodge: The buildings offer generous room measurements, ultra high cape reed ceilings and finishes in natural and timeless materials such as stone (collected from the farm), timber frames, solid terra cotta tiles, earthy tone plasterwork and Zimbabwean teak decking.
The property was graded as a 5-star establishment and was operated commercially until 2011. Since then, it has been operated as an exclusive conference venue only.
The main lodge was originally developed as an exclusively venue for groups and the facilities are designed to cater for small conferences, board meetings or company breakaway weekends and team-building sessions. The main conference room is fully equipped with screens, white boards and light projector and seats up to 30 people in comfort.
Leisure facilities on the premises include a pool and sundeck, billiard room, table tennis and sundry games. A signature boma area presents an unrivalled setting around open fire with views across the valley and rare species game enclosure

Chalets: The accommodation at the Main Lodge include twelve air-conditioned suites, of which two are located in the main building and four pairs nestled against a slope overlooking the valley. Six of these chalet suites also have outdoor showers in addition to the en-suite bathrooms. All suites have private decks overlooking a ravine of unspoilt nature.
Lodge 2: Higher up, on the top of the hill behind the lodge, is the 2nd Lodge which is a self-catering camp can be used to sleep more people if required. This Lodge consists of two en-suite split level cottages, a fully equipped communal kitchen and boma, with a vista of the majestic Waterberg Mountains and horizons of unspoilt nature. Two outdoor showers, privately tucked in behind the kitchen area, complete the camp. The camp is serviced daily, and firewood, linen and towels are provided. The camp is only let as a unit to one group at a time.
Additional Buildings: This property has a Managers house, staff quarters for up 20 full-time staff members including lounges and 8 bathrooms. There are service buildings including thatched carports, laundries & store rooms and 10 parking bays covered with timber shading.

Game Farm in extend of 698 Hectares
Located in the foothills of the Southern Waterberg mountain range, this Private Game Lodge is a piece of old Africa just over 1H30min drive north of Pretoria. Set in a malaria-free area, is this reserve which is home home to a large variety of Plains game, Birds (including some rare species that breed here), Reptiles and Flora. There is also rare species including Buffalo and Sable in breeding camps.
This Lodge is ideally suited for eco-tourism offering clear views of game and an endless variety of natural habitat either from guided game viewing vehicle or walks.
The farm roads give good access to all sections of the farm and are maintained with its own necessary equipment by the ground staff. The farm has several kilometers of well-maintained roads plus plenty of additional trails which are also well maintained.
Fully game fenced accordingly to the requirements of the Dept. Nature Conservation and the majority of the game fence is 2.4m high with 21 strands. This fence is regular patrolled by ground staff
There are two earth dams, and 2 equipped boreholes supply the farm with drinking water as well as 20 000 litre water tanks. This region experiences an average rainfall of 750 - 950 mm per annum.

This region, being the centre of the South African Game Breeding heartbeat, and well known between local as well as international investors, has some of the largest game and trophy breeders in South Africa.
