Waverley Hills is best known for producing organic wines with a unique style - Extremely smooth with soft ripe tannins and robust fynbos (garrigue) characteristic. They produce olives in brine, air-dried olives, and a small amount of olive oil. The Estate is situated on the Tulbagh Wine Route between Tulbagh and Ceres, close to Wolseley, South Africa, at the foothills of the breathtaking Witzenberg Mountain Range.

Terroir - The fertile, yellow clay terrain is impregnated with river stones, resulting in well-drained soils with excellent water-holding capacity. All the vineyards are irrigated with pure spring water and are located in a natural watershed area. The area is renowned for its diverse fynbos (indigenous flora), giving the wines a unique herbaceous characteristic.

Biodiversity - They are the first organic wine farm to become a WWF Conservation Champion - acknowledged as an environmental leader. About 20% of the land has been set aside for conservation through the Cape Nature Stewardship Program. All alien vegetation has been removed from this property, and natural predators are introduced in the vineyards to combat unfriendly insects and pests.

All the grapes for the production of their wines come from Waverley Hills.

Various awards and accolades have been bestowed upon their wines. The range includes Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Cabernet Sauvignon - no added sulphates - Grenache Rosè, Shiraz, MCC and many more.

The farm is sold as a going concern. The value of the stock and implements will be calculated and added to the sales price.

The owners are also now focussing on the wedding and accommodation industry, as the small chapel and restaurant are the perfect setting for an intimate wedding. The farm is situated on the foothills of the mountains and has beautiful views of the Valley. The farm has many possibilities and does not just have to be a wine farm. The farm consists of two title deeds which mean that more accommodation can be built without rezoning. The area is popular with tourists exploring various hiking routes and enjoying what the WItzenberg Valley has to offer. Only 120km from Cape Town.
