The Institute of Estate Agents, Western Cape will host a Residential Property Rental Lease workshop on Tuesday the 6th September at their training centre in Sheldon Way, Pinelands.
This will run from 10am to 2pm and costs R100 for members and R200 for non-members.
This half day workshop is run by Cilna Steyn, a specialist in this field and author of “Property Rental and Eviction – The Landlord’s Guide”. Steyn’s practise is in Johannesburg and her book is available to purchase through IEASA for R165 plus VAT.
Topics covered will be lease agreements, precautionary measures, plus hazardous and helpful clauses.
Attorney Peter Mennen will also demonstrate and discuss TPN’s Residential Lease Pack.
“Drafting leases or changing clauses can be complicated, so when a specialist in this field offers her insight into an efficient way to deal with it, agents should take the opportunity to learn from her,” says Annette Evans, general manager of the Institute, Western Cape.
