This Historical Homestead is one of the Natal Old Farms and, as the tale is told, the original home of Petrus Stroom. Built in the 1830''s and situated in an English country garden adorned with a wide variety of fragrant roses and accompanied by a happy array of other plant varieties.
The main house has been completely refurbished (including plumbing and electrical systems) and features a typical Natal style veranda running the entire length of the house, two living areas, a diningroom, farmstyle country kitchen, scullery, laundry, four bedrooms (or three and a study), two bathrooms and a guest toilet facility.
There is an additional building with two storerooms.
The farmland comprises camps and approximately 80% Kukuyu fields, and a stream running through the farm. There is three phase electrical power, 3KW Victron solar system and a seven thousand litre borehole.
