4) THE IMPROVEMENTS

The chalets are neat thatch roofed chalets with a green lawn between bushveld trees.

Chalet 1 to 4:

Every chalet has a double bed and 2 three-quarter beds with an en-suite bathroom. Fully equipped with linen, towels, aircon, kettle etc. It is also cleaned daily.

Chalet 5 & 6:

Every chalet has a double bed and a sofa bed with an en-suite bathroom. Fully equipped with linen, towels, air conditioning, kettle etc. It is also cleaned daily.

Guest House:

The guesthouse has a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with 2 single beds. Open plan kitchen, dining room, TV room with DSTV and a bathroom. There is a large braai area outside. The guesthouses are fully equipped with air conditioning, linen, towels, dishes, ice and freeze facilities, stove, microwave and is cleaned daily. Self-catering - Ice & wood is provided.

Bush Camp:

Central sleeping area under one roof with 10 built-in beds. Separate ablution facilities with showers and toilets. Linen, dishes, mosquito nets, gas lamps, wood and ice is provided. No electricity. Please bring own towels. Self-catering - Ice & wood is provided.

10 New Chalets:

The owner recently constructed 10 new Chalets. Each double chalet has its own bathroom these chalets with have views over an central large earth dam also newly built.

Area 2 Second Camp:

This areas camp consists of 2 double story chalets and a central lapa with a kitchen, braai area, covered lounge area and a swimming pool with additional ablution facilities.

One room has a double bed and a bunkbed and the other room has 2 bunkbeds, a bathroom with a shower, kitchen, living room, porch with an outside braai area.

House 2:

Sleeps 12 persons.

Sleeps 4 persons. 1 Bedroom with a double bed and 1 bunkbed with a bathroom.

This immaculate game ranch has 4 houses which is utilized as managers accommodation and other staff members accommodation. There is a landing strip with an Aircraft Hanger.

House 2:

Roads:

The farm roads give good access to all sections of the farm. The farm has several hundreds of kilometers of roads plus plenty of additional trails.

Fences:

The farms boundary fence is 2.4m high, 21 stands. All game fencing is accordingly to the requirements of nature conservation and some fencing is electrified .

Breeding Camps:

There are 4 large breeding camps (4 x 500ha). All breeding camps has electrical fencing and all camps are connected with a central boma. Each game breeding camp has its own water hole.

There are also 3 x 10 hectare Nyala Breeding camps (32 ha in total)

Water:

This property has 8 fully equipped boreholes. The game ranch has 11 waterholes as well as 8 earth (gravel) dams. 1 earth dam is newly built near the lodge..

Climate:

This area has a unique climate - something between sub tropic and lowveld bushveld. The summer night temperatures drop down to below 20 C, which makes it bearable without a need of air-conditioning.

Flora:

There is a great variety grasses and trees. Mainly Sandy loam veld with sour veldt grazing mixed with a smaller variety of sweeter veldt. Trees are not only functional, but also aesthetically pleasing to the eye, as can be seen from pictures. A wide variety of indigenous trees cover these beautiful area forming a breathtaking tranquil landscape and being an important part of animal, bird and insect nutrition.

Fauna:

The Farm is extremely well stocked but also well balanced with a large variety of game. This region is well known between local as well as overseas hunters as well as the leaders in game breeding.
