About 30-hectare is used for the production of quality lucerne and another 10-hectare as grazing or fodder for sheep. Water usage rights are in place. All the irrigation areas are fenced in with 2,4-metre-high fencing. Water is obtained from boreholes or by a canal from the Gamkapoort dam. The Gamka river traverses the farm and the riverbanks have matured thorn trees and thicket which contribute to the beauty and ambience of the farm. These trees and riverbed floodplain increase the carrying capacity of the farm, as well as the variety of game species, especially those which utilize the leaves and pips of the trees.

The topography comprises of a good mixed sweet veldt, and the landscape varies from mountains, rolling hills, plateaus, wide savannah grass valleys to riverine trees on the banks of the dry rivers.

Both summer and winter rainfall occur in this area. The long-term average is approximately 150 - 200mm per annum. The long-term grazing capacity is 1:39 LSU or 6.5-hectare per small stock unit. The current owner farms with 1,000 Dorper ewes.

The farm is duly jackal-proof fenced and the 3,000-game section is 1.8m high game fenced.

Adequate water, pumped from various boreholes spread over the entire farms are fitted with solar pumps or windmills securing water supply for livestock and game to the respective camps. A network of good roads takes you the furthest outposts of the properties.

The main farmhouse consists of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and is situated in a mature garden. A second 2-farmhouse is situated on another section of the farm and is also in good repair. The houses offer spacious accommodation with modern finishes.
