Ostrich, with indigenous small antelope like Steenbok and Common Duiker also roam the area.

Ten Dexter cows are at present the only livestock on the farm.

The average rainfall is 600mm per annum and the carrying capacity of the farm is 1:9 LSU. Both is above average for the region. The veldt is currently in pristine condition due to good veldt management.
