Living in the CBD of Cape Town is unlike any other city centre. Table Mountain, Lions Head and Signal Hill cradle the City Centre, with mountain hikes and forests in easy access and it is within minutes’ drive to some of the world’s best beaches. Depending on which area in the city you live, the housing arrangements can vary from large leafy houses in Oranjezicht, to small studio apartments in the City Centre. Living in the CBD of Cape Town gives the best of both worlds as you're in close proximity to all amenities, as well as have nature on your doorstep.

Durban Central is a diverse, colourful neighbourhood that includes the beachfront areas, the Berea, Morningside, Glenwood, Musgrave and the CBD. The beach is the biggest attraction and locals flock the promenade to cycle, run, surf, swim, fish or just catch some sun. There are also incredibly lush parks and open spaces dotted around the neighbourhod for residents to take advantage of. The nightlife in Durban Central is exciting with numerous bars, pubs, restaurants and night clubs in close proximity to each other. As its name implies, Durban Central's location makes it convenient to get to any of the other areas around Durban.

The Fourways neighbourhood includes the suburbs of Sunninghill, Lonehill, Fourways, Broadacres, Craigavon and Dainfern. It is an exclusive, upmarket area in which property is always in high demand. The neighbourhood provides just about the full spectrum of amenities, night life and entertainment in a beautiful, tranquil setting. There is an abundance of shopping malls, office parks, hotels and lodges for those with a discerning taste. Residents of the area have a choice of private schools and colleges, and can also apply to admit their children to Bryanston's elite schools.

The Johannesburg CBD encompasses a vast area, ranging from the affluent areas like Linksfield, to more affordable areas like Hillbrow and Bruma. After years of being seen as a no-go area by many, the city centre has bounced back to being in demand again. A massive urban regeneration project has seen money pumped into the area and occupancy is up and crime is down - a sure sign that it's working. The Maboneng precinct, for instance, now attracts a hip, arty crowd to its bars, restaurants, shops and art galleries.

Midrand, also known as the Halfway House, was established as a municipality in 1981. It is a very vibrant, accessible area that is growing at a rapid rate. Families flock to the area to take advantage of the laid back lifestyle and variety of amenities. There is plenty of employment nearby, with many large businesses taking advantage of Midrand's convenient location between big cities. Vodacom, Cell C, Neotel, Altech Autopage and many more large companies have offices situated here, and with its growing residential areas this is one of the up and coming areas in South Africa.

Pietermaritzburg, set amidst the rolling countryside of the Natal Midlands, is one of the best preserved Victorian cities in the world. It's a deeply historical city, characterised by museums and historical routes. Pietermaritzburg is the capital and second largest city in the province. The city is well served with transport links and is conveniently situated between Durban and Johannesburg. It's a thriving modern capital that has carried its history fully into the present. This area has the most comprehensive education centre in the country. Beyond the city limits, the Victorian inspired streets give way to beautiful countryside, characterised by rivers, farms and nature reserves.

Pinetown, being a very multi-cultural area, attracts different types of people from all walks of life. Having its own CBD, the area offers convenience for those who own or work in businesses in the area. The suburb has great homes, at affordable prices, and good schools that will appeal to families as well. This neighbourhood has a reputation as a "motor town", due to the high number of motor dealerships along the main road. Pinetown offers a slower pace of life than Durban, but is a short 15 minute drive from the bigger city.

Polokwane is ideally located for game viewing, Kruger National Park visits, cultural and historical experiences. It is a fully equipped destination, near the Kruger National Park and Magoebaskloof. Polokwane has many activities, fine weather and a busy, friendly population. It's the ideal place for city life and proximity to work, in the heart of the Limpopo Province.

Rosebank is a multi-cultural, vibrant and exciting suburb of Johannesburg, with an outdoorsy atmosphere. It is a trendy suburb, business centre and tourist attraction in one of Johannesburg's up-market areas. Although Rosebank is home to many head offices, the district also provides plenty of entertainment to its residents and visitors at its variety of shopping malls, restaurants, markets, luxurious hotels, cinemas, art galleries and night clubs. Parktown is home to many businesses, hospitals, schools, churches and restaurants, whilst still maintaining quiet residential areas. Parktown is an old and established suburb, with leafy avenues and a serene atmosphere. Large mansions are a dominant feature in this exclusive suburb, and new developments are rare.

Sandton is a vibrant, modern neighbourhood that contains the richest square mile in Africa. It is the business gateway into Africa for many large corporations and attracts thousands of ambitious people seeking their fortunes. But Sandton is not just about big business, residents find plenty of time for leisure too. World class shopping centres, and a buzzing social scene are a huge hit with the young and young at heart. Perhaps surprisingly, there is a huge amount of green space in the area that residents take advantage of to exercise or just take a breather.
