Amanzimtoti, meaning 'the water is sweet' is a laid-back coastal town near Durban. This town attracts the young, old, retired and working class - all for the same reason.. the beach! With the beach being the main attraction in this neighbourhood, surfing, swimming and fishing are the most popular outdoor activities and holiday makers flock here in summer. Life moves a little slower in Amanzimtoti, and many people like to live here and commute to work in Durban.

Ballito, on the Kwazulu Natal North Coast, has grown quickly recently. Upmarket estates, restaurants and shopping centres now inhabit areas that were sugar cane fields not long ago. Many families are relocating to the area to take advantage of the relaxed coastal lifestyle that the area offers, even though it is just 30 minutes drive from Durban. Perfect for families, young professionals and business owners, the affluent town of Bedfordview is close to many industrial and business areas, such as Johannesburg South. This lush area boasts many excellent schools, and various fun activities for the whole family. Bedfordview overlooks the bustling Sandton area, however has none of the traffic congestion of such an area. The police and security companies in this area work well together to provide a safe environment for residents.

For the those who love to feel that they are living a country lifestyle, but are still in a big city, this is the place to live. This is a vibrant area and most of the residents living here are friendly and helpful. Bloemfontein is also a big tourist attraction city as it is so rich with South African history. The residents of this city are big sports lovers and it's the home of the Free State Cheetah’s rugby team.

The Southern Suburbs make up some of the most popular residential areas in Cape Town. With large plots of land and roomy homes, the area attracts a fairly affluent crowd. As its name implies, Durban Central's location makes it convenient to get to any of the other areas around Durban.

Durban North is an established small suburb where the people are friendly, and the surroundings are beautiful. It is a family-oriented area with many activities available. Situated between Durban central and Umhlanga, all amenities and schools are located only minutes away. The area boasts spectacular sea and city views. Although it is centrally and conveniently located, living in Durban North feels very much like living in a small town.

The Fourways neighbourhood includes the suburbs of Sunninghill, Lonehill, Fourways, Broadacres, Craigavon and Dainfern. It is an exclusive, upmarket area in which property is always in high demand. Built amongst rolling hills, houses have magnificent views of the valley and lush, surrounding hills. Just 30 minutes from Durban city centre, Hillcrest is away from the hustle and bustle. Meyerton is a town with a lot of history, culture and beautiful, green scenery. The locals are well mannered, and this area has a very caring and involved community. Houses are generally well built and spacious, with large gardens. The majority of residents work in the surrounding area as there are various industries present.
