The suburbs in the area include Rondebosch, Claremont, Plumstead, Ottery, Wynberg, Newlands, Constantia and Bishopscourt, Pinelands, Observatory, Tokai, Bergvliet, Kenilworth and Steenberg. Peaceful, quiet and leafy, the Southern Suburbs are seen by many as the perfect place to bring up children.

This suburb has become a ‘lifestyle of choice’ for many who don’t want to live in Johannesburg or Pretoria, yet need easy access to both. There are many lifestyle estates in the area which offer residents a good selection of safe, high quality property options. These gated villages have attracted a cosmopolitan community and Centurion functions as something of a mini city of its own. Although it retains a country-feel, residents can be on one of the major roadways to the big cities within minutes.

Situated near the N1 highway between Johannesburg and Pretoria, Centurion West offers a country living ambience not far from the big cities. Durban Central is a diverse, colourful neighbourhood that includes the beachfront areas, the Berea, Morningside, Glenwood, Musgrave and the CBD. The beach is the biggest attraction and locals flock the promenade to cycle, run, surf, swim, fish or just catch some sun. There are also incredibly lush parks and open spaces dotted around the neighbourhod for residents to take advantage of. The nightlife in Durban Central is exciting with numerous bars, pubs, restaurants and night clubs in close proximity to each other. As its name implies, Durban Central's location makes it convenient to get to any of the other areas around Durban.

Durban North is an established small suburb where the people are friendly, and the surroundings are beautiful. It is a family-oriented area with many activities available. Situated between Durban central and Umhlanga, all amenities and schools are located only minutes away. The area boasts spectacular sea and city views. Although it is centrally and conveniently located, living in Durban North feels very much like living in a small town.

Edenvale offers residents a welcome respite from the busier areas that are close by. The former mining settlement is now a diverse suburb that attracts mainly middle class residents. Locals enjoy the quiet, comfortable lifestyle on offer but if they do crave some excitement, entertainment and amenities are a short drive away.

The Johannesburg CBD encompasses a vast area, ranging from the affluent areas like Linksfield, to more affordable areas like Hillbrow and Bruma. After years of being seen as a no-go area by many, the city centre has bounced back to being in demand again. A massive urban regeneration project has seen money pumped into the area and occupancy is up and crime is down - a sure sign that it's working. The Maboneng precinct, for instance, now attracts a hip, arty crowd to its bars, restaurants, shops and art galleries.

The close proximity to O.R Tambo International Airport and the many business parks mean that residents spend less time fighting traffic and more time doing what they love.
