The Core business is to produce a hardy coloured chick for rural communities!
Feather Hill provides a source of protein for more than 900 families in the Rural Developing areas
Feather Hill observed that there was a need for a hardier Breed and pursued this option developing the 3 Breeds of Traditional coloured breeder hens, the Red, Black and Grey Birds
Feather Hill has also recently been selling white Broiler Chicks and the New model of 70% White and 30 % colour is currently being phased in ,this is the chick preference that is now being seen in the Market
Hatchery The Hatchery will have a production capacity of 223 000 Day Old Chicks @ 79 % hatchability per month with doubling up and converting the cold room into a new setter.
