State of the art macadamia farm. Farm Overview:

Located in the scenic Barberton Valley, this farm is a fully operational commercial unit. It has 123,5 hectares of orchards, with trees ranging from 8 to 23 years old. Two comma six hectare have recently been top worked and another two comma five hectares burnt in 2024 but survived. The farm was developed with high standards and no shortcuts.

Terrain & Climate:

The land gently slopes toward the Suidkaap River, running southwest to northeast. Orchards are planted at 807 m to 867 m above sea level, with no frost damage reported in the past 13 years. The area receives 700 mm to 800 mm of rainfall annually.

Water Supply:

The farm has rights to 594,000 m of water per year from the Suidkaap River. A licence has been granted for the construction of a second dam with a capacity of 175 000 cubic meters.
