The estate on the Eastern Cape coast has launched a sectional title property development: The Terraces, with homes starting from R4m.

Safety is a priority that continues to influence the South African property market, stimulating the demand for homes within secure estates. Homeowners are increasingly investing in secure lifestyle estates where they can enjoy a sense of security, not only within their own homes, but also when they are outside exploring local areas and open spaces. Newly established, Olivewood Private Estate & Golf Club – located in Chintsa, along the Eastern Cape Coast – is an estate that is catering to this demand with an outstanding property and lifestyle offering.

Having formally opened its doors to the property market after completion of its golf course in 2016, Olivewood is now proud to announce the launch of its first sectional title property development: The Terraces, located in the Summerfields region in the south-eastern corner of the estate. These luxury terraced townhouses are north facing and offer views of indigenous forest, the ocean and the lush surroundings which are characteristic of the estate.

Comments Kelly Rens, Olivewood Estate Client Liaison Manager: “These units offer residents the best of both worlds: a nature-orientated environment and sophisticated homes which suit a modern way of life.”

The Terraces are ideal for a range of buyers, from young professionals to families or retirees as the choice of both two- or four-bedroom units exists. The units offer ample open-plan living space and complete privacy. Further, because these units are located on a top-class security estate, residents will have the freedom to lock up and go when business or travel calls, or simply to allow their children the pleasure of playing without concern and exploring the outdoors.

The comprehensive security offerings in place at the estate include electrified ClearVu fencing which is both anti-cut and anti-climb, manned entry and access points, CCTV surveillance, 24-hour on site security personnel, regular patrols of the estate and an emergency response team. These provisions remove the necessity for oppressive home security measures such as high walls or locked doors, helping to foster an old-fashioned sense of community where open spaces can be enjoyed with abandon.

Olivewood boasts an array of natural landscapes within the 1 000-hectare estate including forests, open plains, river banks and dams. Sixty percent of the area will remain undeveloped, so there will always be an abundance of open space where homeowners can wander in peace, whilst enjoying sightings of blesbok, waterbuck, impala and warthog. In addition, these units have been designed and are being built with the environment in mind.

After all, Olivewood was created to be a countryside oasis where residents can escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy care free outdoor lifestyles – just 40 km from East London. Pricing from R 4 million.
