The lodge relies on naturally harvested water. There are tanks & a borehole.

The sparkling pool is in a lovely spot in the garden.

There is a laundry/staff room, storage room, four garages & ample parking spaces. The property has irrigation with three water tanks for the garden & one for the pool. There are two for drinking water. There are solar geysers except for the one in the cottage. The lodge was renovated in 2017 & is very well maintained. There are breathtaking views of the estuary & the sunsets are glorious.
