A Rare opportunity to become a huge diversified irrigation farm of 1503 ha, with abundant water and good irrigation infra-structure. The farm is situated 7 km from the town Redelinghuys in the area between Piketberg and Elands Bay and has two title deeds managed as one farm.

The soils of the farm are mainly sand to sand-loam and is deep and very well drained soils.

The farm is water rich and has huge underground water reserves. There is one equipped borehole, pumped at 80,000 lithour with much more in reserve. Two other unequipped boreholes yielding 30 cub.m exist.

Water quality is excellent and the PH. is 6 and EC. 0.56.

A big dam of 50,000 cub.m exists, from where the micro irrigation system in the citrus orchards is fed. The dam is fed from a high a yielding spring.

The current water usage is plus minus 1 335 000 cub.m and the owner has applied for an increase and the results is expected any day now

Farm has excellent potential as citrus farm and the owner has already started to transform the farm into a citrus production unit. 11,3 ha of citrus are already established with good results, with 7,8 ha Midnights and 3,5 ha Lemons of which will be four years old next year and bearing and lemons already start bearing.

New trees already ordered for a further 10 ha and will be available between March and April next year. The varieties are 2775 Nadercotts strait and 2775 Cambria. Due to owner, there is potential for up to 200 ha of citrus depending of what other crops are produced under irrigation.

The owner has already bought the pipe network and all irrigation for the proposed expansion of 10 ha. and it will be included with the sale.

The farm has a license for producing 100 hayear Hemp, which also flourishes in the area. A first harvest is already delivered with good results.

The sandy to sand-loam soils are suitable for a great variety of vegetables like potatoes, sweet potatoes, water melons, carrots, onions etc. Raisons are already planted in the area with great success.

The citrus is equipped with micro irrigation and there are 13 x 13 ha centre pivot circles, all equipped with water and electricity and two 13 ha pivots for irrigation of seasonal crops and the Hemp, which has a low water need. Formerly it was used for potato production which is common practice in the region.

A servitude water furrow exists for the overrun water from the spring to the lower neighboring farm, which may receive half of only the spring water 84 hours a week.

The big veld area and the vleiland area have good potential especially for cattle grazing.

Three permanent workers residing on the farm and a fourth working as house servant.
