The partly double-storey 10m high house is built in the front of a panhandle stand. The living verandah on the first floor leads from the loungedining area and in addition it leads to the covered living deck. And has a spectacular covered viewing deck above the second floor living deck.

It gives permanent views of the Crocodile river and Kruger National Park. The advantage of being this close to the river is the sound of the river and animals.

The property borders onto a large Parkland area at the back. Provision was made to build a pool and deck in front of the property as well as verandah at the back.

The house is baboon proofed on all window openings just don''t leave the doors open. During the design and building process, preparation was made for two more bedrooms and for additional electrical points.

Major thatch roof maintenance was done in November 2024 and in May 2025 the carport roof was upgraded.
