This is a fully furnished 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom and loft sleeps 8-10 holiday cottage right in front of the main 15 Ha dam at The Lochs - a farm 25km outside of Dullstroom on the R33.

The farm has been used as a closed community holiday destination only 14 house for more than 30 years meaning it's safe, stable and has all the infrastructure and management services in place.

At the cottage, you and your family will enjoy 5 dams, all of which are fully stocked with rainbow and brown trout spinning only allowed from Dec to Feb. The house includes a raft with electric motor and a small fishing boat. You'll also have access to neighbouring farms for fishing and mountain biking.

There are 100km of mountain & quad biking through the forests and farms of the area. Your kids can build tree houses in the forest adjacent to the house or explore a huge farm filled with forests, rivers, streams, walking tracks and rocky outcrops.

We've found that, even with the best intentions, it's only really possible to get out of Joburg once a month. That's why the house is split into 4 shares which gives you 1 week a month with main holidays rotating between shareholders.

The Levy includes UNLIMITED FIREWOOD, all the trout you can eat, electricity, water, a full-time farm manager and staff to maintain the dam, farm roads and forests.

As a first holiday house, or a little lock up and go that allows you to escape the city, it doesnt get much better. 1.5 hrs from Pretoria. 2.5 hrs from Joburg.
