Due to its rich history, Krugersdorp has many historical buildings, museums and well built homes. It's a family-friendly neighbourhood, conveniently located near highways to Johannesburg CBD and other business districts.

I moved to Krugersdorp from Roodepoort to be able to get a big, affordable home, and appreciate the nature scenery all around.
Krugersdorp has a caring community that are there when you need help, or even just conversation.
The whole family can enjoy the parks, the Krugersdorp Nature Reserve and the Cradle of Humankind with its various activities and facilities.
This neighbourhood has many function venues where weddings often take place. The Silverstar Casino is nearby, with its new family restaurants and entertainment. Krugersdorp also boasts a variety of nightclubs and live entertainment venues for the youngsters, or the young at heart.
This neighbourhood has many private and public schools, providing a comprehensive education in both English and Afrikaans. These schools include Curro Krugersdorp, St Ursula's and Alma Mater Akademie.
