The rooms each have their own bathroom and some have a small kitchenette area. There are smaller rooms, bigger rooms, and three rooms sharing a bathroom.

Each room has their own private entrance, and a pre-paid meter . There is a main meter for the commune areas like the kitchen, lounge and garden. The landlord supplies the first R250 electricity per student, per month for the communal areas. When this runs out, students need to top up their room and communal areas pre-paid meter.
