It’s great to live and work in Menlo Park. It’s a lovely suburb and I believe the market adds to its neighbourhood feel, especially for those who can walk to the market on a Saturday. It’s a place where the community meets.
The University of Pretoria is located in this neighbourhood, adding a young energy to the area as many students are out and about. World class restaurants and hip coffee shops line the streets in this area, filling the air with delightful and enticing aromas. One of the most popular and regularly visited malls is the Brooklyn Mall, which has more than 170 diverse stores.
Enjoy the tranquility of the Greenlyn Village centre park while also indulging in some of the exotic food from the neighbouring Hazel Food market.
For the rugby fanatics, Loftus Versveld is a well-known landmark of the Old East and the Blue Bulls rugby team often play their matches here. Eastwood tavern is a sports bar next to Loftus Versfeld, which is a popular place for rugby fans.

Duncan Yard is a famous shopping centre in the suburb of Hatfield, where shoppers can buy a quick lunch at the Deli on Duncan, or browse the many stores available. The Florist@duncan stocks fresh flowers, and shoppers can enjoy browsing though some of the gift shops like Moi Décor and Zoetlief. Papa’s real food restaurant is a popular place for business lunches.
