Meet the Private Property team!

Private Property South Africa

barryWhile our IT dudes work tirelessly to ensure that our systems run faultlessly, occasionally something tricky sneaks in. That’s where Barrie and his support team come in – they have the (mostly) thankless task of sorting out browser and advertiser glitches. Heres what keeps them going.

“A former biokineticist by profession, and now an MBA graduate, I come alive through serving others. As head of the Customer Support Desk I listen to all the customer conversations that take place around me and consciously work at creating a positive vibe in what can be considered the heartbeat of this online marketing portal. For fun, I restore old Vespa scooters and compete in physically challenging sports.”

*Michelle *

“I have been with the Private Property team from 2006 and it is the best place to be. As the years have gone by I have become a granny and my granddaughter is now almost three years old. She’s the light of my life!”

*Xandre *

“I am a happy, smiley, energetic kinda girl, and nothing gets me down. My character suits this position perfectly – bring me a problem, and I will gladly sort it out for you! I love to use all my energy on a soccer field. Now that’s what you call a passion! I take each day as it comes and my main phrase is ‘stress less’.”

*Mchekeni *

“I believe I have a great sense of humour and enjoy interacting with everyone – I’m definitely a people’s person, and laughter really is the best medicine! I spend most of my time with my family and the rest studying for my marketing qualification. But Private Property is like home away from home and I love every moment of it.”

*Lulu *

“I am a free spirit who is on an epic journey of self-discovery. A Cost and Management Accounting graduate, I’ve been bitten by the customer service industry bug. I am obsessed with fashion, motorbikes and cars (I talk the torque), have a passion for investing and stock markets, and I love tigers, doing charity work and any adrenalin-rushing activities.”

*Tiff *

“It’s all about the little things for me. From waking up with a kiss from my dog, or getting to work to make someone smile … these are the kind of things that drive me. I am a proud, loud, cheeky Afrikaans girl with a little dash of English. I love spending my free time at home with my loved ones – my boyfriend and my pit bull Blaze.”

*Sane *

“I'm dedicated to my job as I enjoy what I do – helping people. There is never a dull moment as I learn new things every day! I love spending time with my kids, and I love sports and watching my son play. He’s good at what he does. My kids are the reason I look forward to waking up every morning because they inspire me and give me my drive.”

Roshenka

“I am passionate, driven and inspired with everything that I do – not because I want to be the best at what I do – I want to be awesome! My life is filled with amazing, beautiful people and not forgetting my dog, Thor. If I am not at work or playing with Thor, I am at my computer with headphones on, online gaming!”

*Shamain *

“Shamain – my name says it all: I’m unique! Inspiration is what drives me. I’ve been with Private Property since 2008 and my biggest inspiration here is Justin Clarke. I’m part of the support team and I love it. Team players are what we’re about and I believe my team rocks. My motto is: ‘You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great’.”
