Randpark Ridge is a vibrant neighbourhood with lots going on.

Located north-west of Joburg and west of the N1 highway, Randpark Ridge is a large, well-established suburb bordered by Honeydew, Weltevredenpark, Boskruin and Ferndale, among others. Beyers Naudé Drive is the main arterial road running through the area, making it easily accessible to and from the Randburg CBD and Sandton.

Randpark Ridge consists mostly of large freestanding residential properties. They’re reasonably priced too, starting from around R1,5m up to the upper R3m for good-sized family homes with plenty of living space on stands of 1,000m2 or more. Besides these, you can also find a wide range of clusters, townhouses and apartments starting from R600,000, which are ideal if you’re looking for secure, convenient living.

Randpark Ridge offers a good choice of outdoor activities for those with an active lifestyle. The Randpark Golf Club features two 18-hole golf courses, while the popular Creek 9 Mashie Course in nearby Roosevelt Park is a good option for a more casual nine holes. There are plenty of tennis, squash and swimming facilities in and around the area, and Rand Park Primary School is also the venue for an Adventure Boot Camp branch: the intensive four-week outdoor exercise franchise.

One of the suburb’s big attractions is the good selection of schools in the area. Rand Park High School and Rand Park Primary School are well-respected government schools, while Aurora Private School and Trinityhouse High School are the main private school alternatives nearby.

Randpark Ridge has several shopping centres nearby offering retail, restaurant and entertainment options. There’s the Randridge Mall and Honey Crest Shopping Centre in the suburb, as well as Cresta Shopping Centre, Northgate Shopping Centre and Clearwater Mall slightly further afield. The Lifestyle Garden Centre on Beyers Naudé Drive is ideal for gardening enthusiasts, and features restaurants and home decor shops along with the nursery.

With its large, well-priced properties, convenient amenities in the suburb and easy access via major highways, Randpark Ridge is becoming an increasingly popular choice for those looking for convenient suburban living in the heart of Johannesburg.
