This year Win A Home has introduced a distinguished panel of judges to select the overall winner of each week’s design challenge. On Friday 1 September at 4pm on SABC 3 Afternoon Express Win A Home, guest judge Buzwe Mabuza – founder and MD, Design Dreams International (DDI) will be joining Donald Nxumalo of DNX Interiors and Katlego Kondlo of Plascon to adjudicate the designers’ third challenge of the season: The Bathroom challenge.
Buzwe brings years of experience in commercial and residential architecture and interiors to the panel. His career started at the young age of 17. He has acquired a knack for blending styles, creating awe-inspiring works on many platforms.
He is responsible for creating laidback-luxe spaces for his clients without skimping on function or comfort in the country’s most stylish residential and business interiors with his work extending to the international market. His proficiency in understanding and interpreting design has poised him as an industry thought leader, often called upon to speak on the subject and to judge various showings.
Buzwe offers the following advice to the design duo contestants: “Design is communication and so I am looking for the best told story in respect of the space given.”
