With a Junior and Senior College on one campus, the availability of both IEB and the Cambridge education is one of the main features that make Ashton International College unique. In the classroom, learners are encouraged to be independent thinkers and teachers oversee lessons to ensure full understanding in all of their lessons.

The Junior College, encompassing a Pre-Primary School ranging from Grade 000 to R and the primary school levels from Grade 1 to 7, lays the foundation for academic excellence and a positive outlook to study. Stimulating, well-equipped classrooms and enthusiastic teachers ensure premium development.

Education is of an international standard, with learners being taught a combination of the Revised Curriculum and the Cambridge International Primary Program. In the Senior College, learners write the Cambridge IGCSE exam and then are given the choice of pursuing this option to matriculate with this international qualification or changing to the South African IEB certificate.

The wide range of activities on offer are given expression through a number of events through the school including Eisteddfods, Public Speaking Festivals, Debates and the school’s Annual Revue. The sporting calendar is also very busy at the College with a range of sports being overseen by the school’s Sport Co-ordinators.

Every element of the school lives of learners at Ashton International College take place within top facilities. As a host training venue for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the school boasts a soccer field of international standard.
