Friends on Show with Private Property

Private Property is leading the online property listings industry with an innovative platform that is constantly bringing more usefulness and functionality to property owners, buyers and sellers. Maybe that’s why it has earned its place as South Africa’s busiest property website.

In the past few weeks, Private Property has launched an advertising campaign, which is led by TV and supported by online and radio promotions. The TV campaign features familiar South Africans selling themselves as though they were houses. It’s half online dating video, and half “property speak”, and with its wide range of characters and archetypes, has been creating a buzz across the country.

Two 30 second commercials are currently flighting on SABC and DStv channels. To see the online only full-length feature of the commercial, visit the Private Property page on Facebook. Once there, you’ll also find our exciting new competition where you have the chance to win an extreme home makeover worth R100 000. To enter, just think of one of your friends and ask yourself, “If he or she was a home, what kind of home would he or she be?”

Would she be the “Prissy Penthouse”? Or perhaps he’d be the ‘Bachelor Flat’? Take the fun quiz to find out and ‘Put Your Friends On Show’ with Private Property. Share your results on Facebook and you’ll be in the running to win this fantastic prize. Aside from the TV and Online, there is also a radio promotion inviting listeners to call in and identify famous homes for a chance to win daily cash prizes.

This is the first major national campaign for a property company in South Africa - and it’s fitting that it comes from Private Property, a company built on relentless innovation.
