Situated in Lower Houghton in Johannesburg, next to the Golf Course and with easy access to the M1 North and South, Houghton School offers top class facilities to all learners from Grade R to Grade 7. The fine amenities on offer assist in the school’s endeavour to channel its learners to excellent high school and secondary schools with the greatest success in their future pursuits; in the context of providing a caring and stable environment conducive to the highest standards of learning. Working within the ethos that each child needs to nurture their strengths and develop skills to confront their weaknesses, Houghton School prides itself on the all-round development of its students, giving them a thorough foundation upon which they can become integrated members of society. Among the sporting alumni, the school boasts a South African cricketer as well as football players representing a number of professional clubs, including Kaizer Chiefs and Silver Stars.
