Imagine 10 000 villages, each raising and impacting 500 orphans "the right way". Imagine five million children rescued, raised and rebuilt to become future leaders who impact the continent of Africa, and who can reach out to other orphans. Imagine...

Tich Smith is a man who imagined this and, through his faith, had a vision to provide holistic residential care for vulnerable children, with the core vision being to rescue a child, restore a life, raise a leader, and release a star.

The fruition of his dream, LIV Village, places parentless children into a family environment where they receive a home, unconditional love, spiritual discipleship, care and nurturing. All their physical needs are met.

Privateproperty.co.za is privileged to be able to assist with this vision with the first LIV Village, which is situated on 31 hectares in Cottonlands, in KwaZulu-Natal. Tich plans for many similar villages to be built on the same model.

"LIV is a cause that is close to our hearts. We're in the business of matching homes with people who can afford to buy or rent them. Our social responsibility is to assist this model in a small way, to home orphans and vulnerable children," says Freda Kooij, Privateproperty.co.za PR Manager.

"Every member of our team has in some way gotten involved in this awesome project. Privateproperty.co.za has a great set of values and we encourage our people to Live our Values and Walk our Talk, and so we're proud to have recently handed over a cheque for R25 000 to LIV Village."
