Catering for Grade 0 to Grade 12, School of Merit Private School offers learners high quality, IEB education in an ethos based on Christian principles and a solutions-focused outlook. The school sets high standards in a caring, challenging environment. It is this atmosphere that allows for learners to set goals and lay the groundwork for achievement. The concentration on work ethic, together with a strong ethical foundation, means that learners are equipped with all of the mechanisms to meet their potential. The qualified teachers oversee small classes and ensure that learners receive the required support and guidance to become well-rounded, competent individuals. The school also addresses the unique needs of individual learners through their support facilities, including a team of teachers and therapists dedicated to overcome learning barriers.

The specially-allocated, age appropriate phases within the school provide a firm foundation of skills, covering fundamental learning areas. Classes are heterogeneous, giving all pupils the ability to learn together with tolerance and understanding for the range of abilities and talents that exist within the classroom.

In keeping with the requirements of a modern world, computer studies are compulsory to all learners at the School of Merit through their Knowledge Network syllabus, through which they undergo external evaluation and receive a certificate for their efforts.

Within the rich school days at School of Merit Private School, concentration is placed on developing compassionate, independent individuals with a keen social conscience. The comprehensive development of learners is aided through social responsibility projects, a full range of extra-curricular activities and a number of fun events where learners can showcase their talents and abilities and socialise within the school community.
