The Wonderboom Nature Reserve is a wonderful place to have a picnic and enjoy nature. There is a huge fig tree (also known as the 'wonderboom' or 'miracle tree'). The reserve is also the dwelling place of a number of small antelope, monkeys, dassies and an array of birds.
Mayhem racetrack is an oval racetrack in Pretoria West where stock cars race. The racetrack offers different classes of cars, as well as caravan racing. A great spot for the adrenaline junkies or car enthusiasts.
Pretoria is a premiere shopping destination, and the surrounding neighbourhoods have some of the best shopping centres in the country. Pretoria West is also home to the Voortrekker monument, a cultural icon of South African history.
