Queensburgh offers a choice of two shopping centres, with the major stores staying open quite late for extra convenience. The area also has a great selection of fast food places and restaurants, making it easy to eat out without having to go far.
Queensburgh is a fairly quiet area at night but it does have local hot spots like Cat-Man-Du sports bar. There are other sport bars and pubs in the area where one can enjoy the atmosphere of watching a soccer match with a hyped crowd, or a social gathering with friends.
This neighbourhood has many good schools, both English and Afrikaans, such as Werda Skool, Escombe Primary School, Queensburgh Girls High School and Queensburgh Boys High School. These schools are situated in convenient areas for residents of this neighbourhood.
