Acutts and Private Property team up in pioneering relationship

The Acutts name is synonymous with property in South Africa and success that dates back more than 160 years.

And now in a pioneering move this brand, the oldest property brand in SA, has teamed up with Private Property by having every single one of its offices advertise on Private Property’s portal.

Not only this, but each of these offices now uses Fusion, SA’s only true industry-owned agency software, which allows agents to list all their properties on multiple portals at the push of a single button. This ability to reach more potential customers faster and more directly is completely in line with Acutts’ status of being the most progressive agency brand as far as utilising online resources goes.

Jonathan Acutt, director of the illustrious property group, says that the move to Fusion is indicative of the absolute trust that he has in Private Property to support his brand in living up to its promise to consistently deliver the best service to its customers. “In all that we do, we strive to remain authentic, sincere and transparent – and these values are also inherent to Private Property’s way of doing business.”

Private Property’s sales manager, Mark Coetzee, is excited by the prospect of developing the relationship: “Acutts has chosen us as its online partner. And we know that we can deliver on our commitment to deliver more quality leads to its agents.”

Private Property released a new version of its website in June – to international acclaim. The site is built to accommodate more qualified information, more photos, and virtual and video tours, which all contribute to enhancing the browser experience. With more than a million unique visitors being hosted and 700 000 quality leads having been delivered in January 2013 alone, the company expects that these figures will rise dramatically as a result.

“We set out to do what a portal is supposed to do: introduce sharing of great content and make it intuitive and seamless for the browsers to interact with the advertisers,” says Justin Clarke, Private Property CEO.

Acutt confirms Private Property’s confidence in its new site’s ability to heighten the public’s perception of his brand: “80% of house-hunters start their search online – that’s why this medium is so important. Our vision is to provide the easiest and most comfortable property experience, and online is the way to go.”
