HISTORY OF GREYSTONE PROPERTIES

In early 2000, Janet Lester and Maureen Cousins established Greystone Estates after successfully assisting their friends with the sale of their smallholding which had been struggling to sell in Theescombe. Maureen had been working in East London as a real estate agent since 1998 and returned to Port Elizabeth to set up the new business.

In 2006, Chris Lester joined Greystone after selling his successful landscaping business and moved the team into their offices at 246 Circular Drive, Lorraine. Since then Greystone established themselves within Port Elizabeth as one of the leading family led, independent real estate firms.

In 2021, Greystone Estates became Greystone Properties as they merged with another leading real estate family – Team Richter. Joan and Bernard Richter, who are mother and son, have over 50 years of combined experience in real estate and are well known within Port Elizabeth.

Chris and Bernard are now partners and co-owners and are looking forward to Greystone Properties selling your home.
