The Waterberg area experiences a subtropical climate with a pronounced wet season from November to March and a dry season from May to September. The average annual rainfall is approximately 534 mm. The topography is largely flat with seasonal streams, a large earth filled dam, and mixed veld, providing diverse habitats for a wide range of wildlife.

There is 1 x Borehole supplying water into 10 x 10 000 L Jojo tanks which supply the whole farm and all developments with gravity water. A perennial river flows through the northern part of the property, where a dam spans about 4 hectares.
