183.3 ha Farm in Robertson

183.3 ha

Versatile Farm Property with potential for livestock farming and river front camping sites

This farm is situated about 18 kms outside of Robertson. It was used as a sand mine and still can be if the permit gets renewed. There is an endless supply of sand that can be mined here. It has various areas with river frontage. The one area has 2 structures of cement slabs with steel roofing that can be used to park caravans or have as a covered communal area. This area is on a tributary of the Breede River. The second area has a small portion of grass and the Breede river is easily accessible here. With a few days of machinery working there, more river frontage could be opened up. There is a registered right of 2 HA of water from the Breede River. The farm uses reverse osmosis for household water use and is totally off grid with a battery bank of 40 KW, a 12 KW inverter and 32 panels.

The buildings on the farm are very basic and consist of a 1 bedroom house with adjoining store/work room, a seperate building with another work room, store room and small dairy facility for milking goats. There is also a large cement block barn and plenty of enclosures for small livestock. Currently there are Emus, goats and cattle on the farm as well as poultry for personal use. Port Jackson trees are not eradicated and animals feed off them, contrary to belief that no animals eat Port Jackson.
