2013: What a year!

Private Property South Africa
Mark Coetzee

The past 12 months have been magic for us – but we couldn’t have achieved anything without you, our valued partners in property.

With the launch of our all-new website mid-year we moved towards creating a truly digital marketplace in our industry. Our browsers testify to this. Our leads testify to this. And our agents testify to this. Thanks for the feedback we’ve received so far. And remember that we love hearing from you so please tell us your concerns, make suggestions and, of course, compliment us as you see fit!

TALK TO US

Apart from our award-winning site, a 2013 highlight for us is our association with Top Billing and its Dream Home competition. Through this branded prime time TV exposure to more than four million viewers every week we have been able to drive traffic to our site in droves. Analytics show significant increases in browser activity around the Thursday and Sunday viewing times.

To capitalise on these opportunities, we created innovative new packages for you – and together we achieved outstanding successes.

We also exhibited at the three national Decorex shows, where we interacted face-to-face with more than 150 000 consumers. The positive reaction to our new website, as well as to our brand, was overwhelming.

These, as well as the many other marketing initiatives we undertook during the year, were all planned with one goal: to create leads in order that YOU can achieve more.

One more campaign deserves mention here, although our goal was completely different. We launched the CARE Awards, through which an agent stood to win R35 000 to present to the charity of their choice. Congratulations to Lisa Steytler du Plessis of RE/MAX Panache, who chose to divide the cheque between three charities that are close to her heart.

This week, as we mourn the passing of Tata Madiba, the CARE Awards are particularly close to our hearts. The agents who entered are shining examples of his legacy of Ubuntu and understanding. Rest well Tata, your nation thanks you.

It’s been an amazing year! But we – and, we’re sure, you too – are looking forward to our December break. From the bottoms of our hearts, we wish you peace, love and safe travels during this holiday season.
