Greeff Christie’s International Real Estate’s is set to open its latest branch in Kleinmond in September 2018.

The branch is aimed at servicing the Kleinmond and surrounding areas in by providing the same exacting high standards of client service that is the cornerstone of Greeff Christie’s International Real Estate.

Mike Greeff, CEO of Greeff Christie’s International Real Estate, shares his views, “The opening of our new office in Kleinmond is a sign of how receptive the public is to our brand and a very gratifying acknowledgement to our affiliation to Christie’s International Real Estate. This is also a very welcome indicator that the market is not as flat as some people believe. Kleinmond and its surrounding areas are excellent destinations for all types of buyers.”

Kleinmond, which is located in the Overberg region of the Western Cape, is an extremely popular destination for tourists and buyers alike due to its prime location on the coast and within a UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation) declared biosphere, between Betty’s Bay and Hermanus.

The area which is perfect for nature lovers is renowned for being a whale-watching spot where Southern Right Whales are known to mate and calf. The Bot River lagoon area is a beautiful example of wetland and is conveniently positioned adjacent to the Rooisands Nature reserve. Kleinmond also features a pristine Blue Flag beach which is very popular with tourists during the summer.

Jaco van der Merwe, Principal of the Greeff Properties Winelands office shared his thoughts on the opening and the appeal of the kleinmond area, “We are delighted to be of service to the people of Kleinmond. Our team has a wealth of experience and can guarantee unwavering commitment to meeting client expectations. The Whale coast is growing in popularity and Kleinmond is still growing steadily despite the plateauing of sales in the Western Cape.

People are mostly looking at holiday homes but Kleinmond is also growing as a destination for permanent residents, also attracting people from Hermanus due to the area’s comparative affordability.Seeing that the property prices in Hermanus have climbed excessively over the past 5 years, Kleinmond which is only 25 minutes drive from Hermanus, offers excellent affordability and outstanding value for money.”
